It's Detroit Tigers Opening Day.
Although Matthew Boyd is the pivot, I came up with this sketch long before in honor of opening day.

A sketch that turned into style frames and then full production piece. A composite of photos and rendered elements, this creates an environment that could build for each player in the lineup.

From piston heads, to stadium lights, to the Ivy on the batters eye, to the sculptures on display at Comerica park, this truly came together nicely.
