WASHINGTON REDWOLVES - LOGO CONCEPT

With the Washington Redskins retiring their nickname, and now becoming the "Washington Football Team" (Which I really like by the way), I thought i'd come up with mockups for one of my favorite name suggestions. The Washington Redwolves.

The logo design features a red wolf outlined in a "W" monogram. The logo also features two stripes going across the top of the letter, which symbolizes the two stripes on the D.C. flag. The logo is to embrace the name of the red wolf as a fierce animal, as well as pay tribute in the style to the "Red Wolves" military helicopters.
The logo, I feel, captures the feeling of both military and animal in this design.
The colors still pay tribute to the "Redskins" era and now the "Washington Football Team" era.
I'm really excited to see what the team does moving forward.
