Fun(d) Drive Livestream Gig Poster
Greetings dribbbulons.
One of the things I miss most about my pre-COVID-19 life was designing gig posters. Gig posters are my big-comfy-sweater version of a project. I’ve done a bunch, I generally know how to do ’em, and I generally have a good time making it happen.
Since there are fewer requests for show flyers these days, I really have to savor them. I just finished this one, and it’s for a great cause. All the proceeds are going to Nolef Turns, an RVA organization that helps reduce recidivism by helping those with court and justice involvement successfully thrive post-conviction.
The type on this one is (obviously) done by hand, but it was inspired by the awesome Davison Arabesque.
