Things Widget iOS 14 (Concept)

This weekend I downloaded the iOS 14 beta, and immediately wanted 3rd party widget support after trying out Apple's first release of widgets.

Things is one of my favorite apps, and a widget showing me Inbox, Today, and Upcoming all at a glance sounded amazing. So, I tried making a concept of how this could look myself!

I ended up prioritizing information I thought was most important within the widget, and expand upon that information with each size of the widget (only Areas and date, adding Today tasks, then adding Upcoming tasks) and even added a plus button to quickly open Things with a new to-do open (although I don't think actions are currently supported).

P.S. I know the Things team will do a better job and have better understanding of the use cases they would want here when Apple enables 3rd party widgets 👍🏼
