Digipak Art for Chester Bay's "Changes With The Midwest Moon"

This is the inside/CD portion of my 6-panel digipak album art packaging design for the new full length LP titled "Changes with the Midwest Moon" released by the band Chester Bay.

Concept: The idea for the inside portion of packaging was to contrast the night scene on the cover art with a day scene. As you open the digipak, it transitions into a different environment with similar elements to create continuity, while also staying true to the albums "changes" theme. The imagery, like the cover art, uses the polygonal cubism style to create a treeline which blooms(changes) into birds flying into the sky over a silhouetted city of Minneapolis in the distant background. This was intended to reflect the bright, more free spirited impression of lyrical content on the record.
