APP icon

I tried to design an APP icon for uncharted web-browsing software while wondering why every current web-browsing software icon has been designed in a circle, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari for example? In my opinion, it means people around the world connecting each other looks like a circle. So I made a circle using waves of deferent color that they are trying to blend into one.
