Robot Illustration

This was a fun robot illustration I created for OpenStack's tenth birthday. It was hand drawn on paper then digitally rendered.

The foundation creates an annual graphic with a stylized numeral of the birthday year. The isometric "10" numeral in this graphic is composed of a 1 in the shape of a server and 0 as a 3D representation of the logo, intended to reference the original 3d form of the OpenStack logo.

A crowd favorite version of previous birthday graphics was a robotic arm in the shape of a 7, so we decided to bring back the robot theme using a classic sci-fi robot design, suggestive of both celebrating our past and looking towards the future.
