During my freshman year of college, I worked on a tool with my roommate that tried to improve on AirDrop - by dragging and dropping files, links, and text, you could instantly share whatever you needed to any nearby device with a web browser. On top of desktop/mobile web interfaces, we also put together a little Chrome extension.
