Honeybee

Worker bee character designs for Elise & Miles Meet the Honeybees. There are 60,000-80,000 bees in a hive. That’s a lot of bees! Has anyone ever REALLY counted one hive? There needed to be loads of bees throughout this books so I started illustrating different views and different sizes of bees.

Worker bees do almost all of the work inside and outside the hive. We’ll take a deeper dive into those jobs later.
