Fargo 365 Design Competition Entry

Winning entry for the Fargo Urban Infill International Design Competition 2011.

The concept revolved around using the form of the buildings and landscape to create a truly public space that would be accessible and comfortable year round - even in the extreme cold of the winter and the extreme heat of the summer. Inspired by the "prairie potholes" of the North Dakota landscape, where wildlife gathers to drink and socialize, it includes spaces for recreation and relaxation in the center of a bustling commercial downtown.

This is work completed with a team of three other designers while I was working at Wallace Roberts & Todd.
