Dead Kings: Richard the Lionheart
Richard I, called Lionheart for his fighting during the Third Crusade. His clashes with Saladin led to a mutual respect. Died of gangrene from a French crossbow injury, his embalmed heart is entombed at Rouen Cathedral.
