Captain Marvel Jr - Illustration series (6/6)

As a huge comic book fan I have a serious love for super hero costumes and character designs. The crazier and more niche the better.

For this series I wanted to draw slightly lesser known characters who's design I absolutely love. I felt the need to try a bold illustration style and really go crazy with the heavy lines and ink splatters.

I really enjoyed the process of getting the characters positions and poses down on paper and eventually tracing it into Adobe Illustrator The process of hand drawing while envisioning how the finished piece is going to turn out is something I take great joy in.

*Fun bit of trivia about Captain Marvel Jr, a young Elvis Presley would take inspiration from that collared half cape from the heroes comic book adventures.
