IDEA: Internal Company Social Platform CONNECX Social (in-house design)

BACKGROUND: a platform that allows people to share their ideas and thoughts, similar to current social media apps. Much of my inspiration came from Facebook, however, this one is more basic and caters to internal use by a company.

I feel like having these types of apps in companies would be important for everyone to connect. Not only does it allow existing employees to digitally interact, but it also gives new employees a chance to learn about others and express themselves, even if they haven't met anyone in person.

ELEMENTS:
> Left side panel provides information on the employee
> Right side is for the user to post and share their ideas and thoughts through images, words attachments, files and/or emoticons. Other employees can also be tagged. Their latest post appears under the chat bubble.
> Header with the platform name (company name is Connecx, but since this app has been built in-house, it has been branded 'Connecx Social'). Header also has home link and the ability to search for other employees.
