Elephants are my favourite. they are kind and gentle beings who rarely harm anyone. When I read the news about the pregnant elephant dying in Kerala, I was heartbroken and couldn’t stop myself from expressing my grief in the form of this creative.
Whether it was meant for an innocent elephant or a wild boar, it does not matter. Humans are extremely cruel to animals and for what? The poor pregnant elephant was just looking for some food to eat! How inhumane do you have to be to stuff dynamite into a pineapple and leave that for her?
She died in painful suffering but even in her agony did not harm anyone in the village. For all our intelligence and education, humans still need to learn how to treat living beings with compassion.
