[Rem_Owl x Graphikas] Move_Beyond

In lights of recent events, we decided together we Sam to make a little positive piece, with a message full of hope. At first, it was meant for the COVID and climate crisis, but what's happening in America (and France, and many other places I'm sure) echoes perfectly with our piece as well.

It's time we "move beyond" our obsolete ways of thinking, to challenge the status quo (here represented by the solid bars that accompany the type). The idea of intertwined type comes from my recent experiments and the intent to represent flowing past what blocks us. Many times in our lifetime will we be confronted with ideologies that we'll have to speak up against, and I'll keep using my work as a medium to communicate my stance.

I firmly believe all lives matter, with a complete disregard on race, gender, or religion. All. Lives.

How can we still be stuck in a society that feasts on injustice, poverty, and discrimination, when we all have the tools to make it disappear? Speak up. Together we will end all this sh*t so we can focus on what unites us.

It was a pleasure working with Sam on this piece, ideas flowed just right, and bit by bit the message became clearer. Keep an eye out because it won't be the last.

Finally, to respect the voices of those who deserve to be heard far more than my art, I'll leave the social media posting for a bit. I'm with you, friends.
