Z: Zero waste juice centre - Eat Raja

Situated in Bengaluru's Malleshwaram, Eat Raja is a zero-waste juice shop. It is the first zero-waste cafe in India. The fruit shell of watermelons, bananas, and every other seasonal fruit is converted into cups instead of the normal plastic cups.

It has undertaken several initiatives to be eco-friendly. Eat Raja does not use cups, straws or any kind of paper or plastic. The shop offers fruit juice in that particular fruit's shell to avoid any wastage.

Part of the fruit shells are fed to animals, also the citrus peels and other fruit scraps are used to make bio-enzymes, which in turn utilizes to clean vessels and floors. The plastic straws are replaced by bamboo, leaves and steel straws.

Just Bengaluru Things.
