Cascable Pro Webcam macOS App Icon

I had so much fun working with Daniel from Cascable on the app icon for his latest app Cascable Pro Webcam. The app allows you to "Turn your camera into a supercharged, high quality webcam with no extra hardware required!"

For the app icon, we needed a way to convey the idea of a camera lens replacing the standard iMac/MacBook camera as well as tie in with existing Cascable apps that contained the smiley face on a lens.

Initially we had tried showing a whole iMac with a lens on top, but at smaller sizes the concept was less clear. Eventually we came upon the idea of cutting a slice out of the top of a Mac that included the bezel, menubar and wallpaper.
