LoR // Typography & Color Palette

A big component of the visual language for Legends of Runeterra comes from its type and color palette. We wanted everything to feel almost like a "field guide" that a player would take on their journey across regions, but with some of the familiarity of League of Legends. The use of Beaufort along with gold & paper colors developed into this type of Runeterran manuscript look that we really became attached to. It also opened up great opportunities to showcase important design elements that focused on rewards and region specific elements where appropriate.
