Palm Tree Illustration

Here’s a fun little palm tree illustration I made! Being trapped at home due to COVID has made me think about all the travel plans I had :( first thing I’m doing when this is over is to hit up some beaches and relax.

In this illustration I broke down some of the steps I used to make it. For more simple geometric illustrations like these I’ve found Sketch (+ shortcuts) to be faster than Illustrator. All illustrations can be broken down using composite shapes + boolean shape operations + corner radius and the anchor path tool.
