Naked Human Cover Concept

What a treat it was to revisit this book of poetry for inspiration. My copy of "Naked Human" has frayed corners, notes in between the lines, and a spine that's cracking. For this alternative cover concept, I wanted to connect to that well-worn feel.

The poems touch on a variety of observations. Through them is a common thread that speaks to the simplicity and significance of the everyday human experience. The flat and minimal illustrations are representative of such moments, here shown as a full moon night and hands softly cradling tea. All elements have been stripped down to represent form and symbology, much like the prose in the book.
