Howl's Moving Castle

Easily one of my favorite Ghibli films, Howl's Moving Castle is such a visually complex and beautiful piece. Took a shot at vectoring the whole thing and wound up spending something like 24 hours (?) to complete the illustration. The palette is limited to only 5 colors, and I used actual rust photos to generate my bitmapped single-color rust textures. Now to animate the whole thing... glad I keep my Illustrator layers tidy 😉
