Marianinha Parrot

Not so long ago I was casually scrolling through Instagram and happened to watch a video of a parrot doing cute funny things. Who doesn't like parrots, right? But after that the algorithm started bombarding me with similar videos and I got obsessed watching them. I've noticed that all of them had something in common: the same kind of parrot.

Told my wife about it and for my surprise she happens to be a master birdwatcher or something. "– It's a Marianinha!", she said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. At least that's the Portuguese name, in English it's called Caique. Such lovely little creatures, you should check them out :D

That became our inside joke, so I just figured that I had to draw something related to it.

Had tons of fun bringing this simple character from a tiny corner of my sketchbook all the way to a final low poly render. I'm totally new to 3D art, so it feels very rewarding to post this personal achievement.
