Consolidated Independent

Consolidated Independent is a London based company connecting labels and artists with the opportunities and services of the global digital market. CI’s position as part of the innovative state51 Music Group provides access to one of the most advanced and connected supply side technology platforms in the music industry.

The client didn’t want a logo that portrays CI as an on-demand service. Instead we were looking for an abstract visual interpretation of independence and consolidation. As a result, the central element of the visual identity is a symbol that consists of letters ‘CI’ abstracted to circle and square forms. These forms are by nature independent but in this case the specific composition makes them unified to emphasise the consolidated value of the brand.
