Sometimes things change in ways you don’t expect. Coasters for parties can develop into family crests that will last for decades to come. And big celebrations can turn into intimate gatherings with a select few during quarantine times. Either way, we can’t stop pushing ourselves to create things that have meaning.

In celebration of the matriarch of this family, Mama Cardinal, this is an ode to the woman of honor and the amazing family she has raised. Inspired by the strong branches of her clan and the fondest memories of walking through lemon groves with her family on the Amalfi Coast, I am glad to have helped make something special for her big day.
