SIMS - Final Logo

This mark was a fun exploration. SIMS is a construction/oil & gas company. The client had the request to implement an oil drop and an excavator into the logo. At first, it was a challenge to marry those two elements into one mark, but I feel the finished piece is readable and stands on its own quite nicely.
