Sam's Club released a new logo back in September of last year (not pictured).

I'm really not crazy about the font that was chosen, it looks a tad too playful. The type also doesn't have any round edges to support the new curves of the (somewhat tense) diamond brackets. The whole thing just feels a bit unbalanced.

I took a stab at a designing a fresher san serif version of the original logo. Really tried to make it more of a refresh in keeping similar shapes in the letters, and brightening up the colors a bit.

Would love to see more takes on what the new logo could have been...
