Walmart Grocery has a 4 out of 5-star rating (from 23000 reviews) on the Google Play Store. The lower star reviews were mostly about technical faults. So how do I make the shopping experience on the app even better?

I studied how people shop in-store: people typically walk aisle by aisle through the store to see all the products, but they also have a list to make sure their essentials are taken care of. My solution was to replicate this same experience.

My design allows users to browse section by section, while having the option to shortlist favorite items (with the ‘favorite’ button) to create a list. The visual design is designed to be consistent with the current Walmart Grocery app & branding.
