UAE - Ministry of Health Website

Hello guys!
A few months ago I got an opportunity to redesign the website for "UAE - Ministry of health".

Goals
The overall focus was to take the user to where they want to go in the least number of clicks as possible and in the easiest way.

Approach
There were several priorities from the client on which I worked.

1. The first priority is to make the website usable for people with a disability so the website starts with accessibility options, this is done to help disabled users find accessibility settings right away and so they don’t have to look for them.

2. The second priority that can directly affect the usability is the language of the website so the language option is located on the top right side of the header.

3. Since it was mentioned that users also prefer to connect with the ministry through social links, I added them to the main slider, in case they need a touchpoint from the website urgently.

4. One of the issues with the current website design was the ability to search. I have included an option of search right in the middle of the slide banner.

5. Just right below the main slide banner, the most important services have been added for quick access.

Conclusion
The landing area is the main part of the website and for massive sites like this, its better to provide users with multiple types of ways to get where they want to go.
