Chew — Custom Logotype

Work in progress shot of a custom mark I'm working on. I need a break from working on this at the moment, but I would love some feedback on the forms. I think maybe the 'e' is where it's weakest? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's a mark for a small app startup also for a little context. (The rest is super secret!)
