Eatup Logotype

Here’s a look at the logotype and strategy behind Eatup, a food and drink recommendation guide.

Goals
Creating a unique logotype to stand out in a saturated market; a mark that was approachable and personable.

Approach
The logo was hand-lettered, had many initial variations, and was polished up in Illustrator. For the animation, I created logical movements and smooth transitions between each type element in AfterEffects. There are alternate animations that use two colors when overlaying photography or video creative.

Results
The result is a dynamic logo that embrace reflects the brand’s fun and versatile identity.
