NYC Subway App

A new take on the classic transit app, where people can pay for fares with their phone and also customize the hell out of their travel notifications. The payment can be made via NFC, or a QR code displayed on the lock screen, making the experience seamless and easy. Commutes can be saved and customized and by crowdsourcing travel reports, users can be aware at any time of the status of their upcoming commute.

In order to approach such a complex subject successfully, I decided to utilize the design thinking methodology: empathize, define, ideate, paper prototype, test, digital prototype and test again.
