Music Player - Mac Miller

Day 009 of the Daily UI Challenge called for creating a music player. Inspired by Spotify, I chose to place many elements of my music player in similar areas to that of Spotify's.

The player features a song off of the late Mac Miller's last album, Circles. The color choice for the music player was also inspired by Miller because red represents passion, drama and intensity, which are emotions represented in a lot of Mac Miller's music.

As with Day 008, I wanted to continue going beyond the prompt, as well as continue learning Adobe After Effects, by animating the music player. This animated GIF features a tap animation as the user taps the play button. This triggers the slider to begin moving as well as the time counters in what appears to be a sped up version of what users would see if the actual song was playing.
