Funk You

FUNK YOU (FNKU) starts during a initiative called Projetos de Garagem when FLAG, a network of creative companies from São Paulo, meets Dharma, a social-oriented agency based in Maré complex of favelas, in Rio de Janeiro. In the occasion, Anderson França, Dinho, from Dharma, was presenting a project calling for people's attention concerning the prohibition of the baile funk in major pacified favelas in Rio de Janeiro. Also, he talked about the rejection of its cultural meaning by public opinion, that often sees the bailes not as cultural expressions, but as police cases.
