300 Movie, the Mask

Inspired by the movie “300” directed by Zack Snyder, the story is about the epic battle of King Leonidas with a force of 300 men who fought the Persian army at Thermopylae in 480 BC. Using a cold color palette & special brush techniques, I recreated the specular shiny reflective lights of the Mask and blended it within an intense dark battlefield. The whole creative process was achieved after several hours of intense digital painting in Photoshop and lots of coffee.
