Building a web application with a dashboard can be an easy task. No matter you are using VueJS, ReastJS or AngularJS, there are numerous templates always available on the internet. The advantages of using templates are for sure the speed issue, at the same time if the designer can iteration the design on top of the original work provided, the development cycle can be much shorter.

In the case of GCFX, it is a different story. We want the design to be differentiable and align with the look and feel of the mobile app. At the same time, the operation strategy makes it difficult to develop on top of the existing frontend design template. So Unicorn Vision chose to develop the web app in ReactJS along with the in-house development team of GCFX, we focus on the frontend layout and interaction at the same time the in-house team takes care of the API wiring. In this case, the client will be able to do the maintenance themselves once the groundwork is done. So as the vendor we can put our resources into other projects, for the client, they can save some maintenance cost and most importantly to save the communication time between different stakeholders in the company when operating the service.
