Saint Lucia | 41st Independence

In between the Eastern Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean is home to an island strong enough to endure 14 wars. She is a crown that is desperately wanted by the British and French. 7 times each country got a taste of victory and the pleasures her land offered. Ultimately, the 14th war was won by England, but in 1979 she began a new chapter. She became a country, govern by her own people and one they can call home. 41 years later, she is cherished by travellers worldwide as millions come to unfold the many treasures that are unique to her. This is Saint Lucia, a land like no other. Happy birthday.
