Visually appealing is a very important aspect of web design, the more woo-factor you create in the design, the longer engagement time your audience spends on your website. Parallax is a very common style in web design, use along with hero images, illustration or 3D rendering.

On the landing page of the Aroma FAQ book, we do spend a lot of time thinking about how the experience should be when the user explores the information about the book. Traditional book marketing websites are mostly boring with standard web design layout and a call-to-action button.

We want to do in the opposite way, that's why you can see there is an interaction section to let the user explore how the book is structured and the content inside. When we check the statistic after a few weeks of the site published, we can see that the retention time has increased. Since then we have a solid reason for us to spend more time and effort on our landing page project.
