Layout & Type Exploration

Here's some design direction exploration I've been working on in my spare time for a client in the Venture Funding arena.

Some of the brand attributes they want to convey are sharp, clean, lightweight, and stylish.

Type choices are modern while being neither overly techy or too decorative/sophisticated. The black and "not quite white" steps back and lets the content take center stage.
