Another kind of day

Another quick vector drawing I made as a bonus illustration for a client, this one in a happier mood. I don't think they'll end up using it anywhere, but I just had too much fun doodling and colouring.

Playing around with a limited company colour palette in this flat and simple way can really teach you something about combinations, focal points, and other colouring theories that can seem intimidating when you sit with a palette of two bazillion colours. It's a well-known concept, but I feel I'm much more creative and playful when there are limitations.
