Art Director/Senior GFX Designer (FT)

We’re Danger Jones — a rebellious, rock-and-roll hair color brand shaking up the beauty industry in over 40 countries. We create products that are bold, artistic, and community-driven, and our visuals need to match that energy. We’re looking for a hands-on Art Director / Senior Graphic Designer to take our visual output to the next level. This isn’t an agency role where you pass the concept off to someone else. You’ll be in the thick of it: concepting, designing, retouching, organizing, and delivering high-impact creative for a global brand.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the visual execution of the Danger Jones brand across print, digital, retail, trade shows, and global distributor needs

  • Concept and design high-impact marketing assets including:

    • Print ads

    • Website graphics

    • Trade show booths

    • Sales and education decks

    • Magazines and lookbooks

    • Product packaging that navigates complex production requirements

  • Lay out imagery, product shots, copy, and headlines with clarity, taste, and emotion

  • Collaborate closely with our CEO, President, and content team to maintain consistent visual storytelling

  • Lead production design for product packaging, ensuring flawless execution from concept to final output

  • Create dynamic, visually stunning PowerPoint decks that captivate and inspire, reflecting the founder-led vision of Danger Jones

  • Manage and organize a large library of creative assets for use around the world

  • Retouch and relight model imagery to perfection

  • Write clean, punchy copy when needed

  • Balance creativity with speed, and a strong sense of urgency

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands

  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint

  • Strong photo retouching and image manipulation abilities

  • A sharp eye for typography, layout, and white space

  • Exceptional ability to craft dynamic PowerPoint decks that are visually driven, innovative, and aligned with a bold brand aesthetic

  • Strong organizational skills. You’re the type who can make sense of 10,000 digital files

  • Proven experience in production design, bringing projects from concept to production, including handling technical print preparation and navigating complex packaging revisions.

  • Ability to concept and execute, from mood boards to final exports

  • Taste. You know how to make things look f*cking good.

  • Bonus if you can write headlines, campaign taglines, or light body copy

  • Based in LA or willing to relocate
