Remote Design Lead (UX + UI)

About the role  

We're a Shopify engineering agency that's scaling a design arm. You will own discovery workshops, translate data-driven AI wire-frames into a compelling vision, and mentor in-house designers. You'll report to the founder and collaborate daily with our dev lead.

What you'll do

* Facilitate stakeholder workshops and frame KPIs (CRO, AOV, LTV).  

* Curate AI-generated low-fi wire-frames into validated concepts.  

* Create or approve token-based Figma component libraries.  

* Run weekly critiques; coach a mid-level and a junior.  

* Hand-off specs that developers can ship without re-work.

Must-haves

* 6 + yrs professional UX/UI experience; 3 + yrs leading projects.  

* Bachelor's / Master's in Design, HCI, or related field.  

* Portfolio with at least two live e-commerce storefronts.  

* Fluent English; able to work 09:00-17:00 EST.
