Digital Media Specialist

We're seeking a talented Digital Media Specialist to help showcase our exceptional wine and spirits portfolio across multiple platforms.

Please note: This position will start as a part-time, direct hire role w/ the potential for full-time employment in the near term.

De Maison Selections is an exclusive US importer of exceptional wines, ciders, sherries, and spirits from our family of independent producers throughout Spain, France, and beyond. Founded over 25 years ago, De Maison Selections maintains offices in Chapel Hill, NC and New York City serving customers throughout the US.

What You'll Do

Craft Compelling Video Content

• Transform footage from industry events and producer visits into polished, engaging stories.

• Create short and medium-length videos optimized for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.

• Exercise creative judgment while working independently from provided scripts.

• Tell our brand's story through concise, professional video content.

Apply Your Design Skills

• Update technical sheets and sales materials using Adobe InDesign.

• Modify product labeling information with Adobe Illustrator.

• Edit and enhance photography assets using Adobe Photoshop.

• Collaborate on social media planning and publishing strategies.

• Keep our website fresh with updated product information and vintage details.

• Organize and maintain our digital assets library.

What You'll Bring

Experience & Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in video production, graphic design, or related creative field (or equivalent experience) - candidates actively pursuing their degree are also encouraged to apply.

• Proven track record in video production and/or graphic design with a strong portfolio.

• Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).

• Expert knowledge of video file formats, specifications, and delivery methods.

• Comfort working with various file formats (INDD, PDF, AI, PSD, PNG, JPEG).

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• WordPress experience (training provided if needed).

• Knowledge of or enthusiasm for the wines and spirits industry.

The Details

• Location: On-site at our Chapel Hill office.

• Schedule: 20 hours per week, typically spread across 3-4 weekdays.
